Trial Next Date TBD Trial is project series to be presented at Recess in the interim between residencies. As a counterpoint to the fluid, durational work/exhibition residencies that constitute Recess’ primary programming, Trial continues the mission of questioning the context of contemporary art by presenting brief (1-2 day) projects. Recess Activities, Inc. offers a new model that gives contemporary and emerging artists space to use as a studio, exhibition venue, or grounds for experimentation. On September 10, 2010 Uri McMillan will present the b-side of a conference on Michael Jackson. This evening of performance and live tableaux will reinterpret the inaugural Michael Jackson academic conference McMillan organized for Yale University in 2004.
